Tracking work activities is simple
TimeLinx™allows field personnel to remotely record
their activities – including service-work records,
mileage, expenses, documents, and work hours. Personnel
can record activities from the road without being connected
by phone or Internet connection! They simply enter
starting and ending times, work performed, lunch breaks,
travel time and notes in TimeLinx™. All information
is automatically synchronized back to the office the next
time they go online and synchronize with the central Sage SalesLogix
system.
Personnel can be on the road for weeks at a time, yet
managers at central office can easily monitor and analyze
all work performed in the field on a daily basis. They

Project-oriented and pro-active management
TimeLinx™allows you to enter a new project number
when a work contract is received, and then track dates,
milestones, tasks, expenses, products, and project profitability.
Throughout the life of the project, you can monitor work
performed, billings, profits and expenses, all by timekeeper,
customer, date range, and more. The TimeLinx™Attendance
Module enables you to analyze both utilization and realization
percentages. Service records can be linked to any project
or can be tracked without a project for on-the-fly customer
requests. The total amount of time allocated for
a project is recorded so that users are alerted at the
time of entry before going over contracted time! As part
of the “traffic-light” system, colors of data
fields automatically change to indicate that work is under,
nearing, or over or under the allotted time. And various
project templates eliminate repetitive data entry.
Security Assurance
Stringent security features are built into TimeLinx™to
allow only authorized personnel to change protected fields
and perform certain tasks. Manager overrides are
user-specific, recording exactly when approvals are made
and by whom.
Links to Back Office
TimeLinx™ tracks invoice numbers by Account, enabling
easy integration with virtually any back-office system.
Special queries identify which service records have not
yet been invoiced. Included reports highlight
service time by technician within any time period requested.
Service query functionality includes mini speed-search
in a Query-By-Example format, including notes search.
Immediate Reporting
With TimeLinx™, time-critical information from
the field is now available by the next morning, without
laborious re-keying and tabulating data. No more overnight
delivery expenses, illegible faxed paperwork, or time-consuming
phone calls. Information is in the home office the same
day for an immediate improvement in customer service.

Customization
All service records can be coded using customizable,
drop-down lists for accurate data entry. Record and track
work by status, location of work, type of work performed,
primary contact, your company's project manager, project
number, or other parameters.
